Progress and Performance of Agri-clinics and Agri-business Centres Scheme in India

Background: Agri-Clinics and Agri-Business Centres (AC ABCs) is a scheme implemented by the Government of India in collaboration with National Bank for Agriculture Rural Development (NABARD) to provide assistance development entrepreneurship agriculture, creating employment opportunities unemployed agricultural graduates also providing extension services farmers rural areas. The present study modest attempt evaluate progress performance from its inception day looking at state-by-state, training institute-by-training institute project-by-project results. Methods: based on contemporary analysis secondary data gathered books, magazines, newspapers, reports, Publications, Research Articles official websites 1st April 2002 31st December 2021. Furthermore, researcher acquired knowledge both published unpublished thesis order make interesting beneficial. Result: It found that Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu Madhya Pradesh are leading states implementing successfully as compared Hilly States. A little attention focused hilly terms establishing agriventures. Hence, government should pay special take suitable policy measures meet requirements residing areas fulfilling goals scheme.
